BIOGRAPHY

Hello, my name is Samira. I graduated from California State University, East Bay and majored in Graphic Design. I had the opportunity to take freelance opportunities, work in the political field as a Communication Specialist, as well as executing with excellence while working as an Administrative Assistant at the LA County Fire Department. After working in the graphic design field for a year, I decided to explore modeling, as it has been a dream of mine since I was a teenager. While I have grown in my modeling ventures, I am looking to get back into graphic design because my long-term goal is to advance in this discipline and master all things creative.

As a graphic designer, my goal is to be well-rounded in digital design, marketing, print production, and developing of creative concepts relating to target consumers with a memorable style. I also desire to expand my knowledge in this field and utilize my skills to contribute in a meaningful way.

If I was to work for your organization, you would get an honest, hard-working, and eager to learn professional. I am known to be a leader, with a collaborative and ambitious spirit due to me being a former athlete. Being a high school and college track and field sprinter helped me in maintain discipline and focus on the completing the tasks to reach the goals. I am committed to greatness and bring a winning mindset.

The type of content that you can expect to see on my website are logos, illustrations packaging designs which I created in college, as well as freelance work. When it comes to ads, flyers, and signs, you will see designs from my work with the City of Long Beach, the Long Beach City College campaign I managed, and smaller projects from other organizations. In addition, I have one flyer that I made from an event I created and hosted in college with three other students. It was meant to inspire others to learn how to be successful despite their circumstances. Lastly, you will find work that I did with a brand, along with a few photographs and a blog.
